While conventional talk therapy often\u00a0explores\u00a0problems in depth, we aim to\u00a0<strong>find solutions<\/strong>. Albert Einstein said that \u2018We cannot solve a\u00a0problem with the same\u00a0mind that created it.\u2019 Therefore, in a solution-focused therapy session, client and therapist aim to shift the perspective from the problem to a possible solution, exploring a variety of positive approaches to overcome obstacles and make lasting changes. Often<strong>\u00a0important life lessons are learnt<\/strong>\u00a0as a result which help the client to move on. The sessions are\u00a0<strong>goal-and future orientated<\/strong>, we focus on what is possible and changeable, we take\u00a0small but consistent steps towards the desired outcome and we measure\u00a0<strong>progress<\/strong>\u00a0in every session. Hypnosis is basically a\u00a0<strong>guided visualisation<\/strong>\u00a0which puts the client in a\u00a0<strong>deeply relaxed<\/strong> state where they can access their unconscious mind to change old patterns and establish new more beneficial ones. This often includes guiding them to visualise a <strong>positive future<\/strong>\u00a0to\u00a0create a new and\u00a0<strong>more favourable\u00a0mind-set<\/strong>. The client is\u00a0conscious during the process and fully aware of what is going on.
