I’m a fully qualified Solution-Focused Psychotherapist and Hypnotherapist. I love what I do and have seen the most amazing changes in people’s lives. Since February 2017 I’ve also been working as a mentor and supervisor on the Within Sight Psychotherapy & Hypnotherapy Diploma course.

Solution-Focused Therapy

Solution-focused therapy takes a positive approach. While conventional talk therapy often explores problems in depth, we aim to find solutions. Albert Einstein said that ‘We cannot solve a problem with the same mind that created it.’ Therefore, in a solution-focused therapy session, client and therapist aim to shift the perspective from the problem to a possible solution, exploring a variety of positive approaches to overcome obstacles and make lasting changes. Often important life lessons are learnt as a result which help the client to move on. The sessions are goal-and future orientated, we focus on what is possible and changeable, we take small but consistent steps towards the desired outcome and we measure progress in every session. This means clients usually notice an immediate improvement, they are aware of where they stand, what steps to take to  reach their goal and they feel safe and supported throughout the process.

Hypnotherapy

Hypnotherapy is an effective tool that is often used as part of establishing that solution and achieving that goal. Hypnosis is basically a guided visualisation which puts the client in a deeply relaxed state where they can access their unconscious mind to change old patterns and establish new more beneficial ones. This often includes guiding them to visualise a positive future to create a new and more favourable mind-set. The client is conscious during the process and fully aware of what is going on. This powerful technique helps people realise what their hidden barriers are, assists in letting them go in order to make profound and lasting changes.

The combination of solution-focused psychotherapy and hypnotherapy is remarkable and has been particularly effective with a wide variety of challenges such as:

Cost / energy exchange

Psychotherapy/Hypnotherapy session:
In person session:    £90
(I work in two clinics in central Eastbourne East Sussex,).

Online session via via Skype or Zoom:   £90 (to be paid in advance via bank transfer or paypal)

Discounts are available if a series of 3 or more sessions are booked and payed in advance or immediately after the first session:
3 sessions: £240 (£80 each) you save £30 (online or in Eastbourne)

Packages

Stop smoking package: £240
includes an initial consultation, up to 3 sessions and a follow-up chat or email after each session

Phobia cure package: £240
includes an initial consultation, up to 3 sessions and a follow-up chat or email after each session

Chronic pain alleviation package: £240
includes an initial consultation, up to 3 sessions and a follow-up chat or email after each session

Please note that packages need to be paid in full before or immediately after the first session.

Please note that for all sessions I have a 24-hour cancellation policy, so if you’d like to reschedule an appointment, please let me know well in advance otherwise you might be charged a cancellation fee. Thank you. 

Sessions that are part of a package need to be taken within 3 months starting from the date of the first session and need to be about the same issue.
